From Rajshahi with Sweet Taste

‘Gurh’ or natural brown sugar is a name for raw sugar produced from the first crystallization of the sugar cane. This gurh is produced in a large scale at Charghat-Bagha area in Rajshahi. Gurh is used to make various kinds of sweetmeat, cake, rice pudding and other sweet foods. This gurh is sold for 45-55 taka per kilogram which is very famous among the food lovers having sweet tooth.
