Child labour situation in Bogra

Title: Child labour situation in Bogra

Young boys, aged from 10 to 12 years, commonly work in bag factories to help their families meet costs of living. Many had been poor students while others (despite their potentials) needed to pull out from primary school and find ways to earn money. These children earn about 200 Taka (about $3) a day and work for 8 to 10 hours a day in little workshops that may not meet safety regulations.
